ServiceNow Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst in this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to enhance ITSM and Asset Management processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting the implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow SAM / SAM Pro or HRSD modules - Managing and optimizing software asset lifecycle and compliance processes - Collaborating with technical teams on CMDB, Discovery, and IT Asset Management initiatives - Analyzing software licensing models and ensuring compliance governance - Preparing process documentation, workflows, and functional specifications - Supporting incident resolution, process improvements, and system optimization initiatives - Ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices and enterprise governance standards - Facilitating stakeholder discussions, workshops, and solution reviews To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst, ITSM Analyst, or IT Asset Management professional - Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform - Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM / SAM Pro) or HRSD module - Strong understanding of software licensing models including Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc. - Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and IT Asset Management processes - Good understanding of ITIL framework and ITSM best practices - Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills - Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities Preferred qualifications for the role include: - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - ServiceNow SAM Professional Certification - Experience working in enterprise IT environments - Exposure to software compliance and governance initiatives The preferred candidate profile for this position includes individuals with a strong business process understanding and consulting mindset.
