Test Engineer (Insurance Domain) (Chennai)

!!!Strong Insurance domain knowledge (Policy, Claims, Underwriting) Key Responsibilities: - Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for web applications - Design and execute API test cases to validate data flow and service responses - Conduct end-to-end UI testing to ensure seamless user experience - Translate business requirements into test scenarios and test cases - Validate data consistency between UI and backend systems (APIs) - Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools - Collaborate with development, business, and product teams - Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities - Prepare test data and ensure test environment readiness - Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and daily stand-ups Must-Have Skills: - Strong knowledge of STLC and SDLC - Hands-on experience in API Testing (Postman / REST API) - Experience in UI Testing (Web Applications) - Positive understanding of integration testing - Experience with JIRA or defect tracking tools - Familiarity with Agile methodologies - Strong Insurance domain knowledge (Policy, Claims, Underwriting) .
