About the role
Essential Skills: Sr. Support Engineers Experience Required: 8-10 Location :Bangalore JD:The L2 Application Support Engineer is responsible for advanced application support, incident analysis, problem resolution, and operational stability of the DDE and eBG applications across the full technology stack. The role acts as a bridge between L1 support and L3 ensuring SLA adherence, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Perform deep-dive analysis across: API failures Application server issues (JBoss) Reverse proxy / routing issues (NGINX) Database connectivity or performance issues (MySQL) Identify root cause, apply workarounds, and restore services within SLA. Coordinate with L3 teams (Dev, DBA, Infra, Network, Security) for permanent fixes. Monitor and troubleshoot: JBoss EAP 7.0 startup, memory, thread, and connection pool issues API errors, latency, and throttling configurations Support Java/Spring Boot APIs, including: Exception analysis Hibernate-related DB issues Log analysis using Log4j Troubleshoot MySQL 8.0.31 issues: Connection failures Slow queries (in coordination with DBAs) Data consistency checks Validate Hibernate mappings and transactional issues. Support Data Warehouse flows, including: ETL job failures (Talend coordination validation) Data availability issues in Grafana dashboards Support applications using NFS-mounted storage: Validate mount availability and permissions Troubleshoot document access issues Ensure correctness of document paths stored in database tables. Coordinate encryption, backup, and access issues with Infra teams. Mandatory Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with: o Java / J2EE, Spring Boot o JBoss EAP 7.x o NGINX / Reverse Proxy concepts o MySQL (application-level troubleshooting) o Linux (RHEL 7/8) commands and diagnostics Log analysis and troubleshooting using Log4j Understanding of API lifecycle and REST services Desirable Skills Exposure to F5 WAF / Load Balancer Knowledge of NFS storage and encryption Familiarity with Grafana, Talend, and DWH concepts ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management ", Disclaimer : This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
