About the program About EduRankAI EduRankAI is developing advanced technologies across artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, aerospace, robotics, sustainable engineering, and scientific research. The Materials Engineering Internship provides students with practical exposure to the design, characterization, selection, testing, and optimization of engineering materials used in modern technologies. Interns will contribute to research and development projects involving metals, polymers, ceramics, composites, nanomaterials, electronic materials, and sustainable materials while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Roles and Responsibilities Assist in materials selection and engineering design activities. Support material characterization, testing, and performance evaluation. Participate in research on advanced materials and emerging technologies. Analyze mechanical, thermal, electrical, and chemical properties of engineering materials. Assist in failure analysis and materials reliability studies. Conduct literature reviews on innovative materials and manufacturing techniques. Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and research presentations. Support prototype development and validation activities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and research teams. Participate in project meetings, technical discussions, and innovation initiatives. Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, ANSYS, COMSOL, CAD software, Materials Studio, laboratory testing techniques, or material characterization tools will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
