Required Experience: 7 years of experience In-depth and hands on experience working in VMware performing Maintenance, VMtools updates, Hardware compatibility updates. 7 years of experience In-depth/hands on experience working on Windows Server 2012/ higher performing setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, installations, and configuration. 7 years of experience In-depth and hands on experience working on Windows Server 2012/ higher performing OS upgrades, OS patching, installations, setup, and configuration. 7 years of hands on Experience working in and troubleshooting medium to large-scale enterprise server environments. 7 years of experience in-depth experience and ability to work with and write PowerShell scripts. 7 years of experience in working with SAN technology attached to VMware infrastructure performing setup, validation, configuration, and troubleshooting. 7 years of experience in translating user requests into actionable VMware or Windows task. 7 years of experience in working with and understanding standard networking protocols. 7 years of experience in ability to communicate and interact effectively with management, users, information technology personnel, and vendors, both orally, and in writing. 7 years of experience in working with WSUS performing updates and maintenance. Experience working with Brocade switches performing maintenance and SAN Setup. Job Description: Works with IT engineering team to implement and provide support to agency’s IT system infrastructure. Performs day-to-day activities related to the support, research, analysis, and implementation of VMware and Windows systems and infrastructure. Considerable knowledge, experience, and understanding of working in a VMware and Windows environment is required. This includes: In-depth experience with troubleshooting VMware and Windows problems. Thorough knowledge of and in-depth experience with performance monitoring, system testing, OS upgrade, and software patch Installation and testing in a VMware and Windows environment. Experience with standard server networking protocols. In-depth experience with medium to large-scale VMware and Windows environments. Experience with providing technical support.
