Lead Java Developer

As a Lead Software Development Engineer (Backend), you will be responsible for designing and developing complex software systems successfully delivered to customers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Serving as a technical lead on cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of system design - Building reusable code and libraries for future use - Developing highly available, high-performance, and scalable software for distributed systems - Ensuring code quality through unit and integration testing - Mentoring junior developers to enhance their skills and effectiveness - Communicating with technical teams and senior management to gather requirements and describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy Qualifications required for this role include: - 4+ years of software development experience with Enterprise Java, Spring, and ORM Frameworks - 1+ years of experience in contributing to architecture and design of systems - Strong experience in leading junior developers, data structures & algorithms, multithreading, microservices, MVC, and OO skills - Proficiency in working with SQL & NoSQL databases, microservices-based architecture, complex web applications, and code reviews - Familiarity with Agile methodologies, the full software development life cycle, and messaging systems like SNS, SQS, Kafka would be a plus This job is based in Gurugram and requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering.
