We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Discrete Manufacturing Functional Consultant to lead and support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in discrete manufacturing processes and hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Manufacturing, including Work Definition Management, Work Execution, Production Scheduling, and related SCM modules. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, technical teams, and project teams to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Process Analysis & Requirement Gathering Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to understand manufacturing requirements and pain points. Analyze and document current-state and future-state manufacturing processes. Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend solutions aligned with Oracle standard functionality and industry best practices. Translate business requirements into functional solutions and configuration designs. 2. Oracle Fusion Discrete Manufacturing Configure and support Oracle Fusion Cloud Discrete Manufacturing. Design and implement end-to-end manufacturing processes, including: Item and Manufacturing Master Data Bills of Material (BOMs) Work Definitions Operations and Resources Work Centers Work Orders Work Order Scheduling Work Execution Material Issue and Return Transactions Operation Transactions Product Completion and Scrap Rework and Non-Standard Work Orders Serial and Lot-Controlled Manufacturing Configure and support standard, rework, transform, and non-standard manufacturing scenarios. 3. Manufacturing Planning & Scheduling Support manufacturing planning and production scheduling processes. Analyze resource availability, work center capacity, calendars, shifts, breaks, and production constraints. Support integration between Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and Manufacturing. Analyze and resolve work order scheduling and rescheduling issues. 4. Integration with Related Oracle Modules Work closely with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end integration with: Inventory Management Product Management / PIM Order Management Procurement Supply Chain Orchestration Supply Planning Demand Management Quality Management Cost Management Maintenance Oracle Configurator / CPQ, where applicable 5. Implementation & Project Delivery Participate in Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation and rollout projects. Lead or support CRP, conference room pilot, solution validation, and design workshops. Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, and user training materials. Support data migration and validation activities. Participate in SIT, UAT, mock cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities. 6. Production Support & Issue Resolution Provide L2/L3 functional support for Oracle Fusion Manufacturing. Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related incidents and business process issues. Perform root cause analysis and recommend permanent solutions. Work with Oracle Support and technical teams when required. Support critical business processes during month-end, quarter-end, and production operations. 7. Functional Specifications & Technical Collaboration Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and functional specifications for: Reports Integrations Extensions Conversions Workflows Application customizations Collaborate with technical teams on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, BI Publisher, OTBI, FBDI, and other technical solutions. Validate technical solutions against functional requirements. 8. Testing & Documentation Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and expected results. Lead SIT and UAT execution. Support defect analysis and resolution. Prepare user guides, SOPs, and knowledge-transfer documentation. Conduct training sessions for business users and support teams. Required Functional Skills Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing. Excellent understanding of Discrete Manufacturing business processes. Strong knowledge of: BOMs Work Definitions Work Orders Operations and Resources Work Centers Manufacturing Calendars and Shifts Production Scheduling Material Transactions Resource Transactions Shop Floor Execution Serial and Lot Control Rework and Non-Standard Manufacturing Experience with Oracle Fusion SCM modules, particularly Inventory, Product Management, Order Management, Supply Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Cost Management. Experience with end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and production support projects. Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud configuration and functional setups. Experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, and deployment. Technical / Integration Exposure Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) REST and SOAP Web Services Oracle BI Publisher OTBI FBDI / ADFDI Oracle Application Composer / Visual Builder, where applicable SQL knowledge for data analysis and troubleshooting Understanding of Oracle Fusion tables and data structures is an advantage Preferred Experience Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing implementations. Experience integrating Manufacturing with CPQ / Configurator solutions. Experience with CTO/ATO manufacturing processes. Experience with MES or shop-floor execution systems. Experience with Supply Planning and Production Scheduling. Experience in manufacturing industries such as automotive, industrial manufacturing, high-tech, aerospace, or consumer products. Oracle Cloud SCM certification is preferred. Behavioral & Consulting Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to independently lead functional discussions and workshops. Strong documentation and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
