Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans; coordinate user acceptance testing to validate system functionality.

• Analyze program policies and procedures to assess their impact on automated systems.

• Serve as a consultative liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring clear communication, comprehensive documentation, and effective implementation of new solutions.

• Reengineer system processes and identify innovative technology applications to meet evolving business needs.

• Proactively identify risks; design and implement risk mitigation strategies throughout project lifecycles.

• Deliver regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders.

• Manage service request lifecycle—respond to customer requests, coordinate business requirements, and oversee system integration and user acceptance testing.

• Work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating creativity and initiative on varied, complex assignments.

• Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role.

• 5+ years’ experience working with agile methodology and user story analysis, serving as a liaison between business and IT.

• Direct experience with the Texas Automated Nutrition System (TANS) – minimum 1 year.

• Proven ability to write system requirements compliant with federal child nutrition programs.

• Strong organizational, task management, and communication skills.

• Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with federal and state reporting requirements.

• Advanced proficiency in process reengineering and stakeholder engagement.
