Responsibilities

Analyze business processes, user needs, and system capabilities to identify improvement opportunities and automate workflows.

Elicit comprehensive requirements through interviews, JAD sessions, surveys, document analysis, and workflow studies.

Transform requirements into well-documented business/functional requirements, user stories, use cases, wireframes, and mockups.

Mentor peers by disseminating business analysis best practices and supporting team development.

Utilize TEA tools such as Jira and Modern Requirements to manage and communicate requirements throughout the SDLC.

Ensure requirements are tracked, managed, and fulfilled, including overseeing post-implementation enhancements.

Required Skills and Experience
-
8+ years: Requirements elicitation, system requirements documentation, SDLC participation, business process re-engineering, software process flow improvement, user stories/use case development, mockup/wireframe design.

5+ years: Strong communication, facilitation, writing, and organizational abilities.

4+ years: Experience with TEA or other education agencies/vendors.

2+ years: Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA and Modern Requirements.

Preferred Skills

Experience in large-scale education technology initiatives.

Advanced UX/UI design expertise.

Familiarity with Texas state education policies.
