Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, user needs, and system capabilities to identify improvement opportunities and automate workflows.

• Elicit comprehensive requirements through interviews, JAD sessions, surveys, document analysis, and workflow studies.

• Transform requirements into well-documented business/functional requirements, user stories, use cases, wireframes, and mockups.

• Mentor peers by disseminating business analysis best practices and supporting team development.

• Utilize TEA tools such as Jira and Modern Requirements to manage and communicate requirements throughout the SDLC.

• Ensure requirements are tracked, managed, and fulfilled, including overseeing post-implementation enhancements.

• Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years: Requirements elicitation, system requirements documentation, SDLC participation, business process re-engineering, software process flow improvement, user stories/use case development, mockup/wireframe design.

• 5+ years: Strong communication, facilitation, writing, and organizational abilities.

• 4+ years: Experience with TEA or other education agencies/vendors.

• 2+ years: Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA and Modern Requirements.

• Preferred Skills

• Experience in large-scale education technology initiatives.

• Advanced UX/UI design expertise.

• Familiarity with Texas state education policies.
