ServiceNow Business Systems Analyst

[Responsibilities]
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, leading end-to-end requirement discovery for complex, cross-domain initiatives.
- Facilitate structured discovery sessions to capture business objectives, operational pain points, risks, and desired outcomes.
- Translate business needs into actionable functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
- Partner closely with ServiceNow Product Owners and Platform teams to support backlog readiness, solution design, and prioritization.
- Ensure solutions leverage out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities and meet governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Act as a business subject matter expert throughout the delivery lifecycle, from intake to deployment, participating in Agile ceremonies and validating delivered functionality.
- Document and optimize current and future business processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
- Contribute to the evolution of intake models, requirement standards, and governance frameworks.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 8+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in enterprise-scale technology environments
- 4-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience across modules such as CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, or CSM
- Deep expertise in CMDB, CSDM, data quality, and business rules enhancements
- Experience defining resiliency boundaries within CMDB
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong grasp of ServiceNow workflows, data structures, integrations, and reporting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation
- Experience collaborating with global teams in offshore–onshore delivery models
- Demonstrated analytical and structured problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities and ambiguity
- Proficiency in producing high-quality artifacts: requirements, user stories, process flows, impact assessments
[Preferred Skills]
- CBAP or PMI-PBA certification
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
