ServiceNow Solution Architect – Contract to Hire Location: Columbus, Ohio (4 days onsite, 1 remote; within bank footprint locations)

About the Role

Join our dynamic IT architecture team as a ServiceNow Solution Architect, driving enterprise transformation through strategic platform design and integration. As a Principal Architect, you will shape and optimize ServiceNow architecture, lead innovative solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Work closely with project teams, influence decision-making, and leave your mark on large-scale banking technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Architect and model ServiceNow solutions to meet evolving business and IT needs.

• Analyze enterprise drivers, identify change requirements, and recommend best-fit solutions.

• Evaluate technology trends and assess their impact on the enterprise environment.

• Define guiding principles and standards for scalable, secure ServiceNow architecture.

• Lead implementation, modification, and governance of enterprise architecture initiatives.

• Develop roadmaps to evolve the enterprise application portfolio.

• Oversee solution integration, ensuring compliance with architecture and security standards.

• Advise development teams to ensure seamless integration with infrastructure and applications.

• Document solution designs and analysis for future reference and compliance.

• Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience across multiple IT areas (application development, technical architecture, network management, middleware, database management, operations).

• Deep understanding of ServiceNow Core Platform, CMDB, integrations, security protocols, release process, and update set promotion.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders.

• Preferred Skills

• 3+ years as a solution architect in large, complex environments.

• 3+ years leading technology initiatives and supporting ServiceNow platforms.

• Experience architecting across business, technology, data, application, and infrastructure domains.

• Excellent communication skills with executive presence.

• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management capabilities.
