About the role
Indotronix is seeking an :
Onsite Job: Aircraft or Aerospace Electro-Mechanical Assemblies Level C Work Location: El Segundo, CA Shifts: 1st and 2nd based on business needs
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM Capable of lifting 20 lbs or more on a frequent basis High School Diploma or GED Required
Position Responsibilities:
Electro-Mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis.
Assemble Electro-Mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, written assembly instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Use precision calibrated tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers.
Perform visual inspection of Electro-Mechanical assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, integration, and test procedures.
Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications.
Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair.
Perform soldering and reworking of through-hole and SMT components.
Support conformal coating, masking, epoxy application, and coating processes.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
More than 3 years of experience reading blueprints, working with manufacturing plans, and reviewing instructions for aerospace manufacturing processes.
Capable of lifting 20 lbs or more on a frequent basis.
Ability to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods with only short breaks.
Preferred Qualifications

More than 3 years of experience in electronics, electro-mechanical, and printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies.

More than 3 years of experience in Electro-Mechanical assembly on high-reliability products.

More than 3 years of experience working with ESD, IPC J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610 standards.

More than 3 years of soldering experience.

More than 5 years of experience building component-level space products such as avionics boxes, batteries, mechanisms, optics, PCB assemblies, and solar arrays.

More than 3 years of experience using structural hand tools, test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes, and shears.

More than 3 years of experience working in a Clean Room environment.

More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

Current IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certification.

More than 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office and basic office computing systems.

Education / Experience:
-
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School Diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate + 2 years' related work experience, Bachelor's degree, etc.).
