About the role
Design Engineer (Presses) - Yamunanagar Experience : 5-14 Years Location : Yamunanagar, Haryana Education : B. Tech (Mechanical Engineering) Key Responsibilities Demonstrate strong teamwork skills. Independently design state-of-the-art mechanical presses. Perform hand calculations, Excel-based calculations, and programming calculations related to the strength of materials and machine design. Select purchased components based on technical specifications and product catalogs. Interact with the project department for any required clarifications and with customers during the drawing approval stage. Participate in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and ensuring design robustness. Qualification & Skills Extensive experience in machine design and strength of materials, including the design of shafts, flywheels, bearings, gears, and structures. Excellent knowledge of Excel. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with the ability to create preliminary layouts. Knowledge in Fabrication Drawing, Machining Drawing, and Heat Treatments is an advantage. Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
