BIM Tekla Engineer | Chennai Location: Chennai Openings: 4 Experience: 36 Years Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Key Roles & Responsibilities Develop accurate 3D structural BIM models using Tekla Structures. Prepare detailed structural steel and RCC models for high-rise residential projects. Create GA drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings. Coordinate with Structural Design, Revit, MEP, and Architecture teams to ensure clash-free models. Interpret structural drawings and convert design concepts into BIM models. Maintain BIM standards, model quality, and project documentation. Update models based on engineering revisions and site requirements. Generate BOQs, material reports, and drawing schedules from Tekla models. Support project coordination and ensure timely delivery of BIM deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle. Key Skills Tekla Structures (Mandatory) High-Rise Residential Building Modelling Structural Steel & RCC Modelling Shop Drawings & GA Drawings Fabrication & Assembly Drawings BIM Coordination & Clash Detection AutoCAD Structural Detailing BOQ & Material Take-Off s Good understanding of structural drawings and construction practices Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills Experience in large-scale residential or commercial building projects.
