Structural Design Engineer (RCC High-Rise Buildings) Location: Chennai Experience:714 Years Qualification:Master's Degree in Structural Engineering ( Mandatory) Employment Type:Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer with expertise in RCC structural design for high-rise residential buildings. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in structural analysis, design optimization, and proficiency in ETABS to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural solutions. Key Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and RCC design for high-rise residential projects. Design structural elements such as foundations, columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, and retaining structures. Prepare structural design calculations, reports, and engineering documentation. Review and coordinate structural drawings with BIM, architectural, and MEP teams. Ensure designs comply with IS Codes, NBC, and relevant engineering standards. Perform seismic and wind load analysis using ETABS. Optimize structural designs for safety, constructability, and cost efficiency. Coordinate with geotechnical consultants, architects, and site teams during project execution. Resolve structural design issues and provide technical support during construction. Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and technical discussions. Review and approve engineering calculations prepared by junior engineers. Support value engineering initiatives and continuous process improvements. Maintain accurate documentation, revisions, and design approvals.
