Job Title: Precast Structural Design Engineer Function:Precast Location:Chennai Experience:6 - 10 Years Qualifi cation:M.E / M.Tech in Structural Engineering (Mandatory) Employment Type:Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Precast Structural Design Engineer withstrong expertise in precast structural design for high-rise residentialbuildings . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in structuralanalysis, precast component design, ETABS modelling, and coordination withmultidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effi cient, and optimized structuralsolutions. Key Roles & Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design of precast concrete structures for high-rise residential buildings. Develop detailed design calculations for precast components including beams, columns, slabs, walls, staircases, and other structuralelements Create and review ETABS models for structural analysis and ensureaccurate load application and design outputs. Perform design checks for gravity loads, lateral loads, seismic forces,and wind loads as per applicable standards. Prepare structural design reports, calculation sheets, drawings, and technicaldocumentation. Coordinate with precast production teams for design feasibility, detailing, andexecution requirements. Review precast shop drawings and ensure compliance with approvedstructural designs. Ensure designs comply with IS Codes, NBC standards, and relevantstructural design practices . Identify design issues and provide eff ective engineering solutions duringdesign and construction stages. Support value engineering initiatives to improve structural effi ciency andreduce project costs. Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and project coordinationmeetings. Ensure timely completion of design deliverables while maintaining quality andaccuracy. Mentor junior engineers and review their design calculations wheneverrequired.
