About the role
As the IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a wide range of IT operations, including End User Support, Data Centre Management, Network Operations, Service Desk Management, Security, and Vendor Management. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing and managing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of end user devices, networks, applications, software, and tools. - Managing a team of operations support specialists, providing coaching and training as necessary. - Defining, managing, and maintaining KPIs, processes, and policies to continually improve IT Operations. - Liaising with various stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure they have the necessary resources and support for day-to-day operations. - Responding to and resolving user issues in a timely manner. - Conducting regular audits and assessments of existing operations to identify opportunities for improvement. - Ensuring compliance and adherence to MSIL's IT policies. - Managing procurement and maintenance of end user computing hardware and software. - Conducting market research to identify potential vendors and stay updated on industry trends in IT Operations. Qualifications Required: - BE/ BTech - Minimum of 6 years to a maximum of 10 years of work experience Competencies/ Skills: - 5-8 years of experience in managing IT Operations with expertise in End User, Service Desk, Data Centre, Facility, LAN, Security, and Vendor Management. - Excellent Customer Centricity. - Good Aptitude and Assertiveness. - Strong Presentation and Communication Skills. - Proficiency in ITSM Tools. - Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
