Sr SME - IT Infra, InfoSec

Job Description:

Lead team in developing platforms based on GCP, Kubernetes and Grafana. Work with System Engineers, Developers, Architects, and DevOps engineers to design and implement automated solutions with CI/CD Pipelines for infrastructure and software build, deployment, and configuration. Design, deploy and support Cloud Networking including cross cloud and site-to-cloud connections. Ensure Digital Platform service level expectations are clearly defined and measurable through Service Level Objective’s (SLO’s) and Service Level Indicators (SLI’s). Ensure that Instances Deployed to Cloud Platforms meet patching, monitoring and DR/Backup Standards. Leverage scripting languages, such as Python and Terraform, to build automated solutions and integrations on an ad-hoc basis. Maintain code and scripting Git version control repositories and related systems supporting initiatives around “infrastructure as code”. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with the build, deployment, and continuous integration process. Ensure security is integrated into all architecture solutions to meet compliance standards. Design, build, and test cloud architecture to ensure large amounts of data can be transferred and stored efficiently. Create standard operating procedures and policy documentation while adhering to industry standards and best practices. Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on using and accessing data on the cloud, especially during major transfer, updates, or changes. Work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design Manage cloud environments following company security guidelines Leverage scripting to build required automation and tools Interface between application development, support and infrastructure support teams Create knowledge sharing presentations and documentation to help developers and operations teams understand and leverage the systems capabilities Lead in the design, development, debugging, and maintenance of software components using a combination of technologies Experience with Evaluating, Designing, Developing and Building PoC and Architect Infrastructure solutions Deep understanding of networking, storage technologies and troubleshooting Serve as the cloud architect subject-matter expert for cloud practice within Mindsprint

Profile Description: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), Master’s degree is preferred GCP certification 10+ Years of Experience in IT Industry with good experience in cloud engineering Proficiency in one or more of Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash or Java Experience using GCP resource technologies to develop and deploy enterprise solutions Experience managing scaled cloud systems with a focus on operational excellence Experience working with high-availability, distributed systems and services in a hosting environment including hardware, OS, storage, network, and database solutions Experience with DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, TCP/IP and other common network protocols Experience with system analysis and troubleshooting in large-scale Linux environment Experience with database technology (both relational and NoSQL) Working knowledge of agile development methods Working knowledge of data structured/algorithms Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, software application, and design. Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on data privacy and security. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and can thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Strong communication skills with the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional departments and teams.
