Job Description Data Engineer Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Chennai Parrys Corner Experience: 15 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days (N-4) Qualification: Any Engineering Degree (Full-time) Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with 13 years of experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with PySpark and AWS services, along with a strong understanding of ETL processes, big data technologies, and cloud-based data platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using PySpark. Process and transform large datasets efficiently for analytics and reporting. Develop and optimize data workflows on AWS cloud services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and data requirements. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across data platforms. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data pipelines. Participate in performance tuning and automation of data engineering processes. Maintain technical documentation for data solutions and workflows. Required Skills 13 years of experience as a Data Engineer. Strong hands-on experience in PySpark. Good knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, or related services. Experience in ETL development and data pipeline implementation. Good understanding of SQL and database concepts. Familiarity with data warehousing and big data ecosystems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow. Knowledge of Python programming. Exposure to Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. Understanding of data modeling and cloud data architecture.
