As a Software Developer (Java) at our company located in Chennai Parry's Corner, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS technologies. Here is a detailed breakdown of your responsibilities, required qualifications, and preferred skills: Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Java and Spring Boot. - Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices. - Develop cloud-native applications and deploy solutions on AWS. - Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Create and maintain technical documentation. Required Skills & Experience: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development. - Solid proficiency in Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot. - Experience in developing web applications and RESTful services. - Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud deployments. - Valuable understanding of Microservices Architecture. - Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. - Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD practices. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
