About the role
As a candidate for this position at the Large Global Organization, your role overview will involve monitoring critical events and alerts, routing them to the appropriate teams, and initiating bridges for cross-team resolution. You will be leading end-to-end major incident management, including structured troubleshooting, escalation, and decision-making under pressure. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor critical events and alerts, route them to the appropriate teams, and initiate bridges for cross-team resolution - Lead end-to-end major incident management, including structured troubleshooting, escalation, and decision-making under pressure - Maintain SLA commitments for mission control assistance requests and ensure incidents are tracked with correct categorization and prioritization - Engage the right assignment groups and coordinate with NOC/monitoring teams to accelerate identification and resolution of critical incidents - Drive incident documentation and learning: create incident timelines, root cause summaries, repair items, and support Major Incident Reviews (MIRs) and post-mortems Qualifications Required: - 3 - 5 years of experience in NOC, incident management, and major incident management - ITIL-aligned incident management practices, including major incident handling and continual service improvement (CSI) support - Incident management execution with solid process discipline for SLA/OLA adherence and high-quality ticket documentation - Azure DevOps usage for tracking and managing incident-related work items, tasks, and subtasks - Operational readiness for monitoring-driven workflows and escalation/communication during high-severity events Additional Details: The ideal candidate for this position should hold a B.E., B. Sc., or B.Com. degree in Computer Science or related fields. However, degrees in Mechanical, Civil, or Information Systems are also acceptable based on role fit.
