Software Test Engineer

Role Overview: You are a highly skilled Test Engineer with expertise in Automation/Manual testing of API/Web applications. Your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain test scripts for web applications and APIs, ensuring the highest quality of software products. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans. - Execute automated/Manual test cases and analyze results to ensure software quality. - Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues. - Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate new features and bug fixes. - Ensure all software releases meet the highest quality standards by performing thorough testing. - Document test cases, test results, and any defects identified during testing. - Maintain detailed and organized test documentation and reports for reference. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for web application test automation. - Strong knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI). - Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). - 3+ years of experience in test manual/automation. - Experience with various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment. Additional Company Details: The organization is NEC Corporation of India Ltd., and the base location for this role is in Noida with flexibility to travel as needed. The role is at the Entry to developing level professional with little or no prior experience required, and the experience level is Mid Level.
