Piping Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and review piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings using CAD tools - Prepare and check piping design documents including pipe routing, support drawings, and material take-offs (MTO) - Ensure all piping designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications (ASME, ANSI, ISO, etc.) - Coordinate with process, mechanical, structural, and instrumentation engineering teams for integrated design development - Perform stress analysis and support design reviews in coordination with the stress engineering team - Review and validate vendor drawings and technical submittals related to piping components and equipment - Participate in HAZOP, design review meetings, and technical discussions with clients and project teams - Identify and resolve clashes and design conflicts during 3D model reviews - Prepare and maintain engineering deliverables as per project schedule and quality requirements - Mentor junior piping designers and draftsmen within the team as needed
