SENIOR FMS ENGINEER (IT INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT)

As a Senior FMS Engineer at CRED IT Solutions, you'll own the reliability and performance of facility management systems that keep the IT infrastructure running smoothly. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain FMS solutions that directly support the organization's IT operations.Monitor system health, perform rootcause analysis on incidents, and implement preventive measures to reduce downtime.Collaborate with network, server, and security teams to integrate FMS data into existing monitoring and alerting dashboards.Create and enforce standard operating procedures, documentation, and best practices for all FMS-related activities.Automate routine tasks and reporting using scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Participate in capacity planning, risk assessments, and compliance audits to ensure alignment with company policies.Requirements: 910 years of hands-on experience with Facility Management Systems, specifically in an IT infrastructure support context.Strong proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining FMS platforms such as FM:Systems, Archibus, or equivalent tools.Solid knowledge of networking concepts, server hardware, virtualization (VMware, HyperV), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and change management in an IT environment.Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex system logs and implement corrective actions quickly.Proven ability to mentor junior staff and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.Who Should Apply: This role is ideal for an experienced FMS engineer who enjoys taking ownership of critical systems, solving tough operational problems, and helping others grow.
