Key Responsibilities Develop, audit, and deploy smart contracts for DeFi applications (e.g., lending, borrowing, trading, staking) using Solidity and other relevant languages. Design and implement tokenomics models and ensure their efficient execution via smart contracts. Integrate DeFi protocols with various blockchain networks and layer-2 scaling solutions. Develop backend services and APIs to support DeFi application functionality. Conduct thorough security audits of smart contracts to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. Research and stay updated on the latest advancements, trends, and best practices in the DeFi ecosystem. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and build new DeFi products. Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years focused on blockchain and smart contract development. Proficiency in Solidity and experience with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible chains. Strong understanding of DeFi protocols, concepts (e.g., AMMs, lending protocols, yield farming), and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721). Experience with blockchain development frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry). Knowledge of security best practices for smart contracts and experience with security auditing tools. Familiarity with backend development (Node.js, Python) and databases is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
