Junior Quality Assurance Engineer

Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems. Collaborate closely with software developers to understand product features and resolve issues. Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, and usability testing. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test plans and test strategies. Participate in requirement analysis to ensure testability. Assist in the automation of test cases where applicable. Provide clear and concise reports on testing activities and results. Ensure that all software meets quality standards and user expectations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) is a plus. Familiarity with test case management tools. Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to testing. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. Must be willing to work from our Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala office.
