Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex backend systems using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot). Architect and build scalable microservices , ensuring high availability and fault tolerance. Mentor and guide junior and senior backend engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development processes. Collaborate closely with product management, front-end teams, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions. Oversee the deployment and operational aspects of backend services, ensuring stability and performance. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Drive technical discussions and make key architectural decisions for backend systems. Identify and address performance bottlenecks and technical debt within the existing codebase. Requirements Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 8+ years of progressive experience in backend software development. Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead or senior engineering role. Expertise in Java and its enterprise frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate). Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures. Strong understanding of database technologies (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and data modeling. Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
