Key Responsibilities Conduct fundamental and applied research in reinforcement learning and related fields (e.g., deep RL, multi-agent RL, meta-RL). Develop and implement novel RL algorithms and frameworks. Design and execute experiments to validate theoretical concepts and assess algorithm performance. Collaborate with engineers to integrate research prototypes into larger AI systems. Analyze complex data and simulation environments to inform RL agent design and training strategies. Publish research results in leading AI conferences and journals. Stay abreast of the latest research trends and breakthroughs in AI and reinforcement learning. Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the team's intellectual capital. Present research findings to technical and non-technical audiences. Requirements Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. 5+ years of research experience in AI/ML, with a significant focus on reinforcement learning. Proven experience in implementing RL algorithms using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Ray RLlib. Strong theoretical understanding of Markov Decision Processes (MDPs), Bellman equations, and various RL algorithms (e.g., Q-learning, Policy Gradients, Actor-Critic). Excellent programming skills in Python. Experience with simulation environments (e.g., OpenAI Gym, MuJoCo) and potentially robotics or game AI is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
