Discrete Opcenter QC Tester

Job Summary We are looking for a Discrete Opcenter QC Tester with 2 3 years of experience in testing Siemens Opcenter Discrete Manufacturing applications. The role involves manual and automation testing, understanding manufacturing workflows, validating integrations, and ensuring high-quality deliveries. Key Responsibilities Perform functional, system, regression, and UAT testing for Siemens Opcenter Discrete applications Understand manufacturing processes such as production orders, routing, BOM, shopfloor execution, and quality processes Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on requirements Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools Validate integrations between Opcenter and ERP/MES/other systems Participate in automation testing and maintain test scripts Perform database validation using SQL queries Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners Support release testing and production validation Automation Testing Responsibilities: Design and execute automation test scripts for web-based MES applications Maintain automation frameworks and reusable components Identify test cases suitable for automation Execute automated test suites and analyze results Technical Skills: 2 3 years of experience in Siemens Opcenter Discrete (DM) testing Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts Experience in Automation Testing (Selenium / Java / Python / TestNG or similar) Good understanding of MES Manufacturing domain Knowledge of SQL for data validation Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.) Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology Domain Knowledge (Good to Have): Discrete Manufacturing processes Opcenter DM modules Integration testing with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Educational Qualification: Bachelor s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT or equivalent Good to Have: Exposure to CI/CD pipelines Experience in Performance or API testing ISTQB Certification (preferred) Soft Skills: Good communication and documentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and in a team Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
