About the Role

We’re hiring an SAP EWM Senior Functional Consultant with 7+ years of hands‑on functional experience, based in India, who will primarily work remotely, with the flexibility to engage onsite with clients when required. In this role, you will lead the functional design & implementation of SAP EWM solutions, guide business stakeholders, and ensure high‑quality delivery of warehouse‑centric business processes. You’ll help ensure EWM functionality is well aligned with client operations, and that integration and performance meet business needs.

In this role, you will

· Lead functional workshops to gather, analyze, and document warehouse operations requirements (inbound, outbound, internal movements, inventory, handling units, etc.). · Design and configure core EWM functionalities: warehouse structure, putaway, picking, packing, replenishment, physical inventory, and storage control. · Define and configure master data objects: storage types, bin structure, warehouse layouts, handling units, packaging specifications. · Ensure integration of SAP EWM with MM, SD, TM, LE, or other relevant modules and external systems like 3PL, WCS/WMS. · Lead blueprinting, solution design, prepare functional specifications, test plans, user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover & go‑live support. · During go‑live and post‑go‑live hypercare, handle change requests, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer to users. · Monitor and optimize EWM performance and warehouse business process efficiency; propose functional improvements. · Produce functional documentation, configuration guides, process flows, training materials. · Mentor and collaborate with junior functional consultants and cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions per business expectations.

You might thrive in this role if you have

· Experience: Minimum 7+ years of hands‑on SAP EWM functional experience, including at least 1‑2 full lifecycle implementations. · You’ve participated in full lifecycle EWM implementations (greenfield or brownfield). · Hands‑on experience configuring core EWM modules: inbound/outbound, internal warehouse movements, physical inventory, handling units, replenishment, storage control. · Solid understanding of associated processes and integration touchpoints (MM, SD, TM, LE, WMS). · Capability to map business processes, conduct workshops, and translate requirements into detailed functional specifications. · Excellent analytical, problem‑solving skills; ability to troubleshoot functional issues in live environments. · Strong communication skills - able to work with stakeholders, functional and technical teams, and ensure clarity of requirements. · Self‑driven, excellent organizational skills, ability to manage priorities, and deliver under deadlines.
