About the Role
We are hiring an SAP EWM Senior Technical Consultant with 7+ years of hands‑on experience, based in India, who will primarily work remotely, with the flexibility to engage onsite with clients when required. In this role, you will lead technical design & delivery of SAP EWM solutions, mentor junior consultants, and ensure high quality across the implementation lifecycle. You will bridge business needs with system design, ensuring strong integration, performance, and maintainability.
In this role, you will
· Lead the technical architecture, configuration, and custom‑development of SAP EWM solutions (embedded or decentralized), including RF framework, handling units (HU), PPF, BADIs, user exits, enhancement framework. · Translate functional/warehouse operational requirements into technical designs; work in workshops with stakeholders. · Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules (MM, SD, TM, LE) and external systems (WMS/WCS, 3PL, conveyors, automation, etc.). · Oversee and participate in full project lifecycle: blueprinting, design, development, testing (unit, integration, UAT), cutover, go‑live, and post‑go‑live support/hypercare. · Performance tuning, troubleshooting advanced technical issues, root cause analysis. · Document technical designs, configuration guides, interface specs, and support knowledge transfer. · Mentor and collaborate with the delivery teams, ensuring code quality, adhering to standards and best practices. · Stay updated with latest SAP EWM technical innovations, tools, and drive continuous improvement.
You might thrive in this role if you have
· Experience: Minimum 7+ years working with SAP EWM in technical roles, including at least 1‑2 full lifecycle implementations. · Deep technical knowledge in EWM components: RF framework, task & resource management, warehouse structure, handling units, PPF, user exits, BADI, enhancement framework. · Strong integration experience between EWM and MM, SD, TM, or with external systems (automation, conveyors, etc.). · Proficiency in ABAP development as needed for custom developments, debugging, interfaces. · Excellent problem solving, debugging and performance tuning skills. · Good communication skills — ability to convey technical concepts clearly to functional teams, clients, and leadership. · Self‑driven, able to work independently and lead aspects of solution delivery.
