About the role
SAP GTS Technical Consultant (Remote | Full-Time Permanent) We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) Technical Consultant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fully remote role offering the opportunity to work on global implementations and support initiatives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement technical solutions within the SAP GTS landscape. Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Develop and enhance RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) in SAP GTS. Work on system integration between SAP GTS and SAP ECC/S4HANA using middleware such as PI/PO or CPI. Perform data migration, interface development, and system enhancements. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to compliance management, customs management, and risk management. Support upgrades, patches, and system optimization initiatives. Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and documentation protocols. Participate in testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Total Experience: 10+ years in SAP technical consulting. Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ years in SAP GTS technical development. Strong expertise in ABAP development within SAP GTS. Experience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, ALE, and web services. Hands-on experience in SAP GTS integration with SAP ECC or S/4HANA. Knowledge of middleware technologies such as SAP PI/PO or CPI. Familiarity with GTS modules such as Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management. Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills. Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 (preferred but not mandatory)
