Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to design, evaluate, and guide modern data architectures across our analytics ecosystem. This role will partner closely with business and technical teams to ensure scalable, high-quality, and future-ready data solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and review end-to-end data architecture using Azure data platforms Provide recommendations on best practices, tools, and architectural patterns Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to guide implementation Identify opportunities to optimize performance, data quality, and cost Required Skills: Strong experience with Azure data tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, ADLS) Proven ability to evaluate and recommend architecture solutions Solid understanding of data modeling, pipelines, and cloud architecture principles Databricks (Python and SQLPySpark) Azure SQL Server (Managed Instance, Azure SQL DB, SQL Server VMs) Data modeling and ETL/ELT design patterns Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for select automation Performance optimization and scalability Qualifications: 8-10 years of overall experience 7 years of enterprise data engineering experience Healthcare data integration experience strongly preferred Experience with large-scale data harmonization and normalization Preferred Skills: Experience in Healthcare (highly preferred) Experience in Oncology (nice to have) Python Azure Data Factory
