Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to support Tier 1 application layer databases in production environments, with a focus on SQL performance tuning and Change Data Capture (CDC) implementation. Key Responsibilities: Perform database administration tasks with a strong focus on SQL and performance tuning. Implement and troubleshoot Change Data Capture (CDC) processes. Support Tier 1 application layer databases in enterprise production environments. Manage downstream data streaming and integration using Kafka. Utilize Debezium connectors for database change event capture and integration. Monitor, analyze, and resolve issues related to databases, CDC, replication, and data flow. Coordinate effectively with application, database, integration, and downstream teams. Maintain an onsite presence to support customer discussions, production issues, and critical delivery activities. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience as a DBA. Proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning. Practical experience in CDC implementation and troubleshooting. Experience with Kafka for data streaming and integration. Working knowledge of Debezium connectors. Strong monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities for database and replication issues. Qualifications: 4-6 years of relevant experience. Experience working in enterprise application environments.
