Job Description:

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years of primary, hands-on PostgreSQL DBA experience • PostgreSQL must be the candidate's core skill and primary area of expertise • Strong experience in: · PostgreSQL Architecture and Internals · Backup and Recovery · Performance Tuning and Query Optimization · Production Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis · PostgreSQL Patching, Upgrades, and Migrations High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions Solid experience in BSR, PGD/BDR, Barman, PEM, patching, upgrades, and production support Strong enterprise-level PostgreSQL Infrastructure Administration experience

Mandatory Technology Experience:

• Hands-on experience with both BSR (Streaming Replication) and PGD/BDR clusters • Strong experience with Barman backup administration and recovery procedures • Good working knowledge of PEM for monitoring and database administration • Proven experience performing major/minor version upgrades, patching activities, and cluster maintenance • Experience handling production incidents, failovers, replication issues, and cluster synchronization issues

Infrastructure & Operational Experience:

• Strong Linux administration skills • Experience supporting large-scale production PostgreSQL environments • Operational support experience, including change management, maintenance activities, and automation • Scripting experience (Shell/Python preferred)
