About the role
As an Advanced User Experience Designer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and owning the product experience. You will work closely with key stakeholders in design, engineering, and business to solve user needs and business goals. Your role will involve demonstrating mastery of the end-to-end UX process, including user research, product definition, and various user evaluations. Additionally, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of Agile/Lean UX methodologies, prioritize backlogs effectively, and communicate clear timelines and updates at all levels. Your responsibilities will also include guiding effective documentation and communication of designs through wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user stories. Furthermore, you will be conducting research and evaluations of designs, as well as staying updated on emerging technology, industry trends, and market trends. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree, preferably from a Tier 1/Tier 2 design school - Outstanding user experience design portfolio - Bachelor's degree in human factors, psychology, user experience design, or a related field - Some experience in user experience design, interaction design, or human factors - Proficient user experience design skills such as customer journey mapping, experience diagramming, task analysis, and workflow design - Experience with observational research and usability testing - Graduate degree in user experience design, human factors, interaction design, or related discipline - Proficiency with design sketching and prototyping tools like Axure, Balsamiq, Visio, etc. - Experience with design trends, benchmarking, forecasting, and concept creation - Experience with project planning, scoping, and execution in a phase-gate and/or agile environment Skills required for this role: - 5+ years of experience in interaction, graphic, visual, product, industrial design, User Experience, HCI, or related field - Strong background in interaction/UX design and hands-on experience as an interaction designer - Conducting user research to understand user needs, mental models, and working contexts - Synthesizing stakeholder research output and creating visualizations summarizing key insights related to user and customer needs and behaviors - Real-world experience in managing projects and stakeholders - Proficiency in standard design and wireframing tools such as Adobe CC, Sketch, and visual communication tools Join our team and be part of innovating to solve the world's most important challenges as an Advanced User Experience Designer.
