About the role
As an Advanced User Experience Designer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing and owning the product experience. Your responsibilities include: - Owning the design execution and collaborating closely with key stakeholders in design, engineering, and business to address user needs and business goals - Demonstrating proficiency in the end-to-end UX process, from user research for discovery to product definition, and utilizing various methods for user evaluations - Showing a deep understanding of Agile/Lean UX methodologies - Prioritizing backlog effectively, providing clear timelines and status updates at all levels - Ensuring effective documentation and communication of design through wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user stories - Conducting research and evaluations of designs, as well as staying current on emerging technology, industry trends, and market insights For this role, the following qualifications are required: - Bachelor's degree preferably from a tier 1/tier 2 design school - Outstanding portfolio showcasing user experience design skills - Bachelor's degree in human factors, psychology, user experience design, or a related field - Some experience in user experience design, interaction design, or human factors - Proficiency in user experience design skills such as customer journey mapping, experience diagramming, task analysis, and workflow design - Experience with observational research and usability testing - Graduate degree in user experience design, human factors, interaction design, or a related discipline - Proficiency in design sketching and prototyping tools like Axure, Balsamiq, Visio, etc. - Familiarity with design trends, benchmarking, forecasting, and concept creation - Experience in project planning, scoping, and execution within a phase-gate and/or agile environment Additionally, the required skills for this role include: - 5+ years of experience in interaction, graphic, visual, product, industrial design, User Experience, HCI, or a related field - Strong background in interaction/UX design, remaining hands-on as an interaction designer - Conducting user research to comprehend user needs, mental models, and working contexts - Synthesizing stakeholder research output and creating visualizations that effectively summarize key insights related to user and customer needs and behaviors - Real-world experience in managing projects and stakeholders - Proficiency in standard design and wireframing tools such as Adobe CC, Sketch, and visual communication tools As an Advanced User Experience Designer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing and owning the product experience.
