About the role
As an experienced and talented UI/Visual designer, you will play a crucial role in designing unique and user-centric products and experiences on our app, targeting teenagers globally. Your primary responsibility will be to make intentional design decisions and transform user-experience journeys into seamless, delightful, and intuitive experiences. If you possess a portfolio showcasing professional design projects, particularly with web/mobile applications, we are excited to connect with you. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Product & UX team to create comprehensive flows, wireframes, visual design mockups, iconography, illustrations, UI animations, prototypes, interaction models, and UI specifications for web and mobile applications. - Develop pixel-perfect visual designs, demonstrating a strong sense of aesthetics including typography, colors, and attention to detail in various states. - Engage closely with engineers to communicate, oversee, and implement your designs effectively. - Partner with Product, Tech, and other Leads within Uable to drive impactful and engaging designs. - Establish and uphold best UI practices and standards across the organization. - Contribute to design systems and maintain a unified design language as Uable expands. - Manage design libraries and systems while adhering to product branding guidelines. - Provide guidance and support to in-house UI designers as needed. - Collaborate with the digital analytics team to evaluate the impact of UI design and usability enhancements. Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of experience in UI/product design, with a transition from a graphic design background. - Demonstrated work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role. - Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, XD, prototyping tools like Envision, and animation tools like After Effects. - Strong team spirit and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. - Effective time-management skills. Good to Have: - A willingness to experiment and explore bold ideas, driving unique and innovative approaches when necessary. - Additional skills such as user experience design, defining end-to-end flows, research, writing, programming, and a curiosity for exploring new tools and technologies. - Creative inclinations and hobbies that reflect your unique personality.
