Data Scientist

Job Description: Data Scientist with Gen AI Expertise Location : Gurgaon Role Overview Experienced Data Scientist to support in design & build an AI-powered recommendation engine utilizing client’s proprietary data ecosystem. The role will focus on developing intelligent, context-aware recommendation capabilities that leverage internal documents, structured data and enterprise knowledge assets to deliver high-value insights, decision support and workflow automation. The candidate will work at the intersection of data science, AI engineering, product development & business strategy.

Key Responsibilities · Design and develop an AI-powered recommendation engine using ChatGPT Enterprise and large language model (LLM) capabilities · Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions that integrate internal documents, knowledge repositories, and structured enterprise data · Develop and deploy agentic AI-based solutions, including creating chatbots with agentic AI capabilities for autonomous decisioning and task execution · Develop data pipelines to ingest, cleanse, transform, and index both structured and unstructured data sources · Create recommendation models that deliver personalized, context-aware insights, next-best actions, and decision support · Engineer features from enterprise data sources including transactional systems, CRM, operational platforms, and document repositories · Evaluate and optimize model performance across relevance, accuracy, latency, and business impact metrics · Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and translate them into scalable AI solutions · Collaborate with engineering teams to productionalize models and integrate solutions into enterprise workflows · Continuously improve system performance through experimentation, feedback loops, and model retraining

Required Skills & Qualifications · 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, AI/ML · Strong foundation in GenAI and core AI/ML concepts with hands-on implementation experience · Strong understanding of LLM-based systems and advanced prompt engineering techniques · Experience with agentic frameworks/workflows (e.g., LangGraph or similar) · Strong experience in GenAI/LLM-based application development (preferably RAG-based systems) · Hands-on experience building recommendation systems, ranking models, or personalization engines · Strong expertise in NLP and large language model applications · Capability to integrate data sources and build backend logic for decision support capabilities · Strong understanding of AI tech stack including hyperparameter tuning, model optimization, feature engineering, and explainability · Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn) · Knowledge of SQL and working with structured/unstructured data · Strong communication skills · Experience with cloud platforms (GCP is a plus) · Exposure to big data/Spark ecosystems is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience implementing solutions using ChatGPT Enterprise or other enterprise-grade generative AI platforms · Expertise in document intelligence, knowledge graphs, or information retrieval systems · Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar tools · Experience working with agentic AI architectures and autonomous workflows · Candidates from Tier-1 (T1) colleges preferred · Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
