Information Technology Support Engineer

As an IT Support Engineer for onsite full-time support in Gurgaon, your role will involve providing User On Prem IT support which includes: - Performing desktop, laptop, and peripheral basic troubleshooting for Windows, macOS, Linux OS, printers, and mobile phones - Provisioning and deprovisioning corporate devices such as laptops and phones - Replacing broken devices with temporary devices following Ericssons processes - Offering technical guidance to end users for day-to-day IT issues within the office environment - Coordinating with L2 teams like end user computing team and EMM for troubleshooting tasks You will also be responsible for Office IT Infrastructure Support, which includes tasks such as: - Performing basic troubleshooting, installation, or maintenance for EIT services like printing, connectivity, platform, and voice - Installing, testing, and removing basic network devices such as switches, routers, and access points - Providing support for Site/CORE Equipment inside the office environment, including smart office sensors, smart metering, and digital signage - Assisting with workplace monitor deployment, testing, and logistics handling - Maintaining accurate records of incidents and resolutions for effective knowledge sharing within the team Additionally, your responsibilities will include Asset Management tasks like: - Receiving, unboxing, and registering devices in the hardware asset management system - Tagging/labeling assets following Ericssons guidelines - Performing periodic audits of hardware assets to ensure compliance with asset management policies - Providing timely reports on asset status to relevant stakeholders - Assisting during internal/external audits & SOX and other compliance activities Moreover, you will be involved in Project Based Site Support activities such as: - Supporting office moves, equipment relocations, or hardware refresh projects - Assisting local business events like AEMs and demos as per demand Your role as an IT Support Engineer will be crucial in ensuring smooth IT operations and infrastructure support within the office environment while adhering to Ericssons processes and guidelines.
