About the role
As a Local Site Support User at the company, your main responsibilities will include: - Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and peripherals with Windows, macOS, Linux OS, printers, and mobile phones. - Handling the provisioning and deprovisioning of corporate devices like laptops and phones. - Replacing broken devices with temporary ones following Ericsson's processes. - Providing technical guidance to end users for their day-to-day IT issues within the office environment. - Coordinating with L2 teams like the end user computing team and EMM for troubleshooting. In terms of Office IT Infrastructure Support, your duties will involve: - Performing basic troubleshooting, installation, or maintenance for EIT services such as printing, connectivity, platform, and voice. - Installing, testing, and removing basic network devices like switches, routers, and access points. - Troubleshooting network connectivity including Wi-Fi and LAN. - Providing on-premises support for smart metering and other real estate solutions within the office environment. - Handling tasks related to PABXs in coordination with L2 teams. - Managing print equipment and AV equipment, including testing and basic troubleshooting. - Deploying workplace monitors, testing them, and handling logistics. - Assisting remote Level 2 teams in troubleshooting and configuring local office infrastructure equipment. - Providing on-site assistance during scheduled maintenance or escalations. - Coordinating with vendors or local service providers for repairs and equipment replacements. - Maintaining accurate records of incidents and resolutions for effective knowledge sharing. - Escorting 3rd party providers to Ericsson's local data room. - Assisting during internal/external audits, SOX, and other compliances. Regarding Asset Management, you will be responsible for: - Receiving, unboxing, and registering devices in the hardware asset management system following Ericsson procedures. - Tagging/labeling assets according to Ericsson's guidelines. - Testing devices upon arrival and securely storing them in Ericsson-provided facilities. - Imaging in-stock devices with the latest approved OS images. - Updating records regularly to maintain accurate inventory information. - Conducting periodic audits of hardware assets to ensure compliance with Ericsson's policies. - Arranging for the disposal of devices following Ericsson's approved Disposal Process. - Coordinating warranty repairs, temporary laptop loans, and cleaning/checking devices before redeployment. - Managing offsite Tape coordination with 3rd party suppliers. - Assisting during internal/external audits, SOX, and other compliances. For Project Based Site Support, you will be involved in: - Supporting office moves, equipment relocations, or hardware refresh projects. - Assisting in local business events such as AEMs and demos based on demand.
