Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute precision agriculture strategies aligned with business objectives. - Lead implementation of digital farming technologies across commercial agricultural operations. - Design data-driven farming solutions utilizing GIS, GPS, satellite imagery, drones, remote sensing, IoT devices, and sensor technologies. - Collaborate with agronomy, R&D, digital technology, commercial, regulatory, and sustainability teams. - Analyze agricultural datasets to improve crop performance and optimize resource utilization. - Develop predictive models supporting irrigation, fertilization, crop protection, and yield optimization. - Manage precision agriculture pilots, field trials, and technology validation programs. - Evaluate emerging agricultural technologies and recommend innovative digital farming solutions. - Support development of digital advisory platforms for growers and commercial partners. - Build partnerships with technology providers, research institutes, universities, and external stakeholders. - Lead cross-functional project teams while managing budgets, timelines, and project deliverables. - Drive adoption of sustainable farming practices through digital agriculture initiatives. - Monitor KPIs and continuously improve operational efficiency through analytics and automation. - Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
