Citrix Nutanix Systems Engineer

Softthink Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Citrix Nutanix Systems Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA to support our client project.

Provide a reliable, scalable, virtual technology platform to deliver desktops, applications, and data in a secure manner to users.

L3/L4 level Escalation point for problems that the helpdesk and admins support cannot resolve to ensure the problem is corrected within a satisfactory timeframe.

Enhance and resolving performance issues associated with the Citrix and Nutanix infrastructure and able to support Global-datacenter locations.

Ensure architecture complies with all IT controls related to area of responsibilities.

Implement, manage, and support Virtual Desktop, Virtual App, UPM, Nutanix AHV and AFS (File Server), AD(GPO/OU).

High level knowledge on implementation and manage Citrix Provisioning services (PVS) and MCS.

Administration of systems: Nutanix AHV, ESXi, Windows (2016, 2019), Linux.

Handles thin client and Nutanix hardware platforms.

Experience and knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, VLAN, Routing, Firewalls) and DHCP, DNS.

Extensive knowledge and Experience with Citrix ADC(SDX/MPX), Citrix Gateway, Okta MFA.

Create and maintain technical and process documentation to ensure efficient and consistent deployment and support of systems.

Monitor tools such as Solarwinds, Liquidware and Citrix Director.

At our company and at our client’s company, a Citrix Nutanix Systems Engineer requires Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
