Senior Cloud Engineer

Softthink Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA to support our client project.

Support all Shape Security integration and production support related activities for applications currently in the BAU backlog, as well as any other applications and flows that are getting identified.

Work with Application Owners, Engineering Teams, Architecture Teams, Shape Team, and Shape Vendor to understand the requirements and support the following for the integration with Shape Security.

Application architecture design.

CDN prerequisites and development (this includes setup, configurations and testing activities).

SSL certificate creation and provisioning support activities.

Integration of Shape SDK / code into the identified pages.

Shape QA Dev configuration & testing activities.

Shape QA Dev monitoring and mitigation setup activities.

Shape Prod configuration & testing activities.

Shape Prod monitoring and mitigation setup activities.

Review of traffic and results and adjustment / tuning of packages / whitelisting as needed.

Troubleshoot support for any stage of the Shape integration (including connectivity issues).

Coordinate with the appropriate teams for required working sessions and touch-points.

Work with the Agile team for planning activities, progress reporting, risk resolution and escalations.

At our company and at our client’s company, a Senior Cloud Engineer requires Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
