Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role Overview :As a QA Automation Engineer at Sysmind, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust automation frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of complex software products. You will work closely with cross-functional development and product teams to identify testing requirements, bridge gaps in the delivery pipeline, and drive the adoption of automated testing practices. Your contribution will directly influence the speed of deployment and the overall stability of applications, ensuring a seamless experience for end-users.Key Responsibilities :- Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python to improve test coverage and reduce manual intervention.- Design and execute comprehensive test suites for web and data-driven applications using Playwright and Selenium to ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.- Develop and optimize PySpark scripts to validate data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and performance for large-scale analytical systems.- Integrate automated testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous delivery and rapid feedback loops for the development team.- Perform complex SQL queries to validate backend data consistency and troubleshoot issues within the database layer.- Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment to define acceptance criteria and ensure that quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.Required Skillset:- Demonstrated expertise in building automation frameworks using Python, with a strong command of Playwright and Selenium for UI automation.- Proven ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries for backend data validation and reporting.- Hands-on experience with PySpark for testing and validating data-intensive applications and ETL processes.- Proficiency in version control systems like Git and experience in configuring automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into effective, automated test scenarios.- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical challenges and collaborate effectively within distributed Agile teams.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment across Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Cochin, or Bhubaneshwar, maintaining high standards of code quality and documentation.- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by 4 to 8 years of professional experience in automation testing.
