Job Title : Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Experience : 24 Years Locations : Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Chennai Core Technical Skills : - Test Automation - Selenium - Karate Framework - Tosca - Java - Unit Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, xUnit, etc.) - Mobile Application Testing - CI/CD Integration Role Overview : We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with experience in designing and developing automated testing solutions for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in automation frameworks, Java-based testing tools, and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality software delivery. Required Qualifications : - 2 to 4 years of experience in software testing and test automation. - Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Karate, and Tosca. - Proficiency in Java programming and unit testing frameworks, including JUnit, Mockito, or other xUnit-based frameworks. - Experience creating and maintaining reusable automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated test execution into continuous delivery workflows. - Hands-on experience in mobile application testing across Android and/or iOS platforms. - Familiarity with API testing, test data management, and defect tracking tools. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC). - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and collaboration abilities. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Karate, and Tosca. - Build reusable test automation frameworks and utilities to improve testing efficiency. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications. - Develop and execute Java-based unit and automation tests using JUnit, Mockito, and related frameworks. - Identify, analyze, and report software defects while working closely with development teams to resolve issues. - Enhance test reliability, reduce manual testing effort, and improve overall software quality. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, test planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software releases. .
