Job Description: Role Details: Designation: AVP/VP IT Infrastructure Role type: People Manager Department: Information Technology Reporting to: Head of Technology Location: Mumbai Your Role (summary): You will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure of the organization, ensuring optimal performance and availability of IT services. This includes managing servers, networks, and cloud services, as well as coordinating with various teams and business partners to support and enhance business operations. Oversee the managed services vendor ensuring optimal performance, uptime and compliance. You will be responsible for: Manage and maintain the organizations IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services. Ensure high availability and reliability of IT services through proactive monitoring and maintenance. Implement security measures to protect the IT infrastructure as per guidance from Information security team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives. Develop and maintain documentation related to IT infrastructure, processes, and policies. Take appropriate action to close the gaps identified under assessments and audits of the infrastructure. Oversee vendor relationships for managed services related to IT infrastructure. Play active role in disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure data availability, integrity and service availability. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements to the IT infrastructure. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Certifications: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud computing. Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance requirements. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment The experience you bring (Educational Qualification/Experience): Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a related role. Preferred experience in the Investment management or financial services industry is preferred. Proven experience with managing IT projects and leading teams. Certification/s (role based): Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, MCSE, Azure/AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable. .
