Head- R&D (medical equipments)

Purpose The Head of R&D is responsible for leading innovation, product development, Regulatory, statutory Compliances, lifecycle management of OUR medical devices developed and organisations quality management system and ISO standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute R&D strategy aligned with business goals Drive innovation in medical microwave and infection control technologies Identify new product opportunities based on market and clinical insights Lead end-to-end product development (concept to commercialization) Ensure design controls, validation, and proper documentation (DHF, Technical File) Ensure compliance with CDSCO and applicable medical device regulations Collaborate with regulatory and quality teams for approvals Align R&D processes with ISO standards (ISO 9001 / ISO 13485) Implement risk management practices (FMEA, design risk analysis) Maintain audit-ready documentation and traceability Oversee product testing, clinical validation, and performance standards Coordinate with labs, certification bodies, and clinical partners Manage R&D projects (timelines, budgets, resources) and track milestones Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams Lead and develop R&D team; foster innovation, accountability, and continuous learning Qualifications &Experience Bachelors/Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or related field (PhD preferred for advanced R&D roles) 10-18 years of experience in R&D, with leadership responsibility Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare innovation preferred.
