About the role
Role:Application Support Engineer
Location:Hybrid-2-3 days a week on site-(Richmond, Charlotte, Richardson TX, NYC, NJ, Phoenix AZ, Atlanta GA) Duration:12 Months
Must Haves: o 5+ years of relevant IT experience (Production Support, ITIL, Release Support, Technical Implementations, or equivalent) o Proficiency with HP NonStop/Tandem utility/Tools (FUP, SCUP, SPOOLCOM, ENFORM, SQLCI, Golden Gate, Enscribe, OSS, Pathway, EMS etc.,) o Strong operating system knowledge in HP NonStop/Tandem, Unix and Windows including strong scripting skills o Knowledge of event driven and schedule driven batch processes o Experience of handling various production support roles (technical – L1/L2/L3) and hands-on experience in using at least 2-3 widely used monitoring / scheduling tools o Experience troubleshooting, analysis, research and resolution using advanced query, programming skills, conduct root cause analysis, and identify mitigations/risk
