About the role
Role- Application Support Engineer Duration- 12 Months Location- Jersey City, NJ (hybrid, 3 days onsite) Responsibilities: Interfacing application support team for any critical issues getting escalated Responsible for owning issues, investigating, communicating in timely manner Possess a high level of analytical and creative skills Efficient in problem solving skill and decision making Flexibility in adapting to team requirements Work in a fast paced agile environment, under minimal supervision, with guidance from senior team members Effectively convey message in both written and verbal development discussions Adhere to team's governing principles and policies Demonstrate enthusiasm and zeal to acquire domain knowledge Required Skills •6 to 10 years of relevant experience •Strong MS SQL database knowledge – intermediate level SQL understanding, performance tuning, Stored procedures, database transactions, locking, dealing with large databases •Strong Analytical, design skills, Debugging and problem solving skills •Have an understanding of both scripting and programming (Java OR Python) •Must be a self-starter, with excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
